Single Game Tickets on Sale Starting March 14

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Ports are excited to announce that individual game tickets will go on sale for the general public online on Saturday, March 14, and at the ticket office at Banner Island Ballpark on March 16. The reigning champions of the California League are also pleased to announce single-game ticket prices for the 2009 season.
Individual game tickets for the 2009 season will be available for purchase online at www.stocktonports.com, starting at 10 a.m. on March 14. Individual game tickets can be purchased at the ticket office at the ballpark or also by phone at (209) 644-1900 starting at 9 a.m. on March 16.
The Ports will host the Sacramento River Cats, reigning champions of the Pacific Coast League, in a "Battle of the Champions" exhibition game at Banner Island Ballpark at 6:35 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8. The Ports will open their season at home on Thursday, April 16 at 7:05 p.m. against the San Jose Giants. Opening Night will include a championship celebration in addition to the 2009 home opener festivities.
The ticket prices for the 2009 season are listed below. Fans can purchase single game tickets at a discounted price in advance either online or at the ballpark. All online ticket sales are considered advanced sales, and fans can purchase tickets at a lower price through the official Stockton Ports website. Fans that purchase tickets on the day of the game pay full price.

Fans should note that Comcast Club and Scout tickets are subject to availability for day of game purchase. Also, individual game tickets for July 3 will be available for purchase on March 16, but as a part of a Ports Blast Pack. The Blast Pack is composed of three Ports home games that feature post-game fireworks. For the 2009 season, the Blast Pack includes April 16 (Opening Day), July 3 and September 5. Individual tickets for July 3 will not be for sale until Friday, May 1.

The ticket office at the stadium will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday during the preseason and on non-game days. Starting on April 16, during the season on Monday through Friday game days, the office will be open from 9 a.m. until the end of the game. On weekend game days, the office will be open from 10 a.m. until the end of the game.
