Single-Game Tickets on Sale March 3rd

FUNNVILLE - The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, are excited to announce that single-game tickets for the 2018 season will go on sale during Nutzy's Block Party on Saturday, March 3 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at The Diamond. The first 100 fans who purchase tickets at the event will receive a free Funnville T-shirt. Tickets for individual games will be available to purchase in-person for the first time, beginning at 11 a.m. Online and phone ticket sales begin at 12 p.m.

Nutzy's Block Party is held along Squirrels Way outside The Diamond and is free to the public. The annual event will once again feature live music, food trucks, vendors, games and new ballpark food samples. The Flying Squirrels will begin their ninth season of affordable family funn on April 13, 2018 against the Reading Fightin Phils. Special guests Fred McGriff will throw out the season's first pitch at The Diamond. "The ninth season of Squirrels baseball and like we do everything, we will once again turn the first day of ticket sales into a funn filled family event," said Flying Squirrels VP & COO Todd "Parney" Parnell. "As in the past, Nutzy s Block party will be a great way to spend some quality family time while mingling and interfacing with various community organizations and the Flying Squirrels."

The Flying Squirrels will announce their fully loaded 2018 promotional schedule later this month in advance of Nutzy's Block Party. The Block Party will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and will end as VCU's baseball game against Manhattan begins. First pitch for the VCU contest is scheduled for 2 p.m. with gates opening at 1 p.m. Tickets for the VCU game can be purchased at the front gates of The Diamond.

Flying Squirrels tickets to the 2018 season begin at $8 for advanced purchase of general admission seating. Terrace Level tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day of game. Chick-fil-A Richmond Field level seats are $12 in advance and $14 day of game. Tickets are available for purchase anytime online or at the Flying Squirrels box office Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The box office will also be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning March 10 until the end of season
