
Single-game tickets for all Rivermen home games will be available on Friday

Peoria, IL (August 31, 2005) - As previously announced on July 1, the Peoria Rivermen will make single-game tickets for all of the team's 2005-06 preseason and regular-season home games available for sale on Friday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m.
Beginning Friday, tickets can be purchased in-person at the Carver Arena box office, by phone by calling Ticketmaster at (309) 676-8700, or online by visiting Ticketmaster.com. Additional information on not only single-game tickets, but also full and partial season-ticket packages can be obtained by calling the Rivermen ticket office at (309) 676-1040 or by visiting www.rivermen.net.
Individual-game tickets for the two Rivermen preseason home games on Saturday, September 24, and Friday, September 30, will be priced at $15.50 for all Lower Bowl seats and $10.50 for all Upper Bowl seats. Single-game tickets for any of the club's forty regular-season home tilts will range from $17.50 for all Lower Bowl seats to $12.50 for all Upper Bowl seats to $10.50 for seats in the "Pilot's House." The several sections of the Upper Bowl on the end of the Carver Arena ice surface at which the Rivermen shoot once during each game comprise the "Pilot's House."
The Rivermen will open the 2005-06 American Hockey League (AHL) regular season with a game against the Iowa Stars in Des Moines on Thursday, October 6. The following night, the Rivermen will stage their first-ever home game as a member of the AHL against the Manitoba Moose at 7:30 p.m. at Carver Arena. Peoria will conclude that season-opening weekend with another contest versus Manitoba on Saturday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m. at Carver Arena.
The Rivermen are a proud new member of the AHL. Founded in 1936, the AHL now serves as the primary development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams and will celebrate its 70th anniversary season in 2005-06.
