Single Game Jackals Tickets Go On Sale

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that single game tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster and the First Arena Box Office. The Jackals also announced the results from last weekend's Pro Placement Camp.
Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 Elmira Jackals regular season are now on sale at the First Arena Box Office or by calling Ticketmaster at 607-722-3711. Don't get left out in the cold while the Jackals heat up the First Arena, get your single game tickets today. The First Arena Box Office is currently open Monday-Thursday 10 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4 pm; Friday 10 am to 2 pm.
Tickets range from $20 for Restaurant seats, $14 for Center Ice, $9 for Blue End Zone and $8 for Red End Zone. There is a $1.00 discount off the ticket value for children & students (with a valid ID) as well as for Seniors (60 and over).
10-game and 20-game Ticket Packages are also currently on sale. Is your schedule to busy to get Season Tickets and attend all 38 Jackals home games? "We are hoping that with all the excitement building from the recent hockey activity at First Arena that people will want to get their tickets early," said General Manager Robbie S. Nichols. "Now's your chance. Stop by our Box Office and buy your single game tickets today because you don't want to be shut out at the gate when Jackals hockey gets going in October."
In other news, the Jackals wrapped up a very successful Professional Hockey Placement Camp over Labor Day Weekend. Elmira has selected seven players from more than 80 tryout participants to attend their official Training Camp in early October. The Huntsville Havoc (SPHL), who also participated in the Camp, have selected three other players for their training camp, plus Huntsville has agreements with most of the seven players taken by Elmira, should they not be chosen for the Jackals regular season roster. Furthermore, the Jackals Front Office is trying to assist in the placement of a few other talented players from the Camp, with aims of getting them assigned to interested SPHL or Junior A level teams.
"We had an excellent turnout and a high level of talent for our first-ever Tryout Camp," said Nichols. "We are anxious for the selected players to return for our Training Camp because we are eager to see what they can do at the UHL level. The entire weekend was an overwhelming success and we are definitely planning to host the 2nd Jackals Professional Placement Camp in September of 2007."
