"Simon Says" Break a World Record with the Tigers

On Friday, April 28th, the Lakeland Tigers and Community First Credit Union will attempt to add their names to the Guinness Book of World Records by breaking the World Record for most people participating in a game of "Simon Says."

Lou Goldstein, the originator of the classic game, will be at Joker Marchant Stadium leading the crowd in the record-breaking attempt. After the Tigers finish their game with the Sarasota Reds, fans in attendance will be led onto the field where a huge game of "Simon Says" will be played. After breaking the record, the winner of the big game will walk away with $1000 courtesy of Community First Credit Union.

Also, since it's a Community First Credit Union Family Friday, kids 14 years old and under get in free. Adult tickets are only $5 for all of the festivities and senior tickets are $4. The game starts at 7:00 PM with the "Simon Says" festivities immediately following the game. "Simon Says" Come on out to Joker Marchant Stadium and be a part of a World Record!

The Lakeland Tigers are in the midst of their 2006 season. Season tickets are on sale now as well as individual game tickets. The Tigers offer free parking and affordable family entertainment. Tickets are also on sale for the Florida State League All-Star Game. The game will be played on June 17th, 2006 at Joker Marchant Stadium.
