Silvertips' Pre-Season Schedule Announced for 2022-23 Season

EVERETT, Wash. - The Western Hockey League has officially unveiled its pre-season schedule for the 2022-23 campaign, with the Everett Silvertips commencing play on Sep. 9.

Everett will be holding a pre-season tournament with fellow U.S. Division teams at Angel of the Winds Arena on Sep. 9, 10 and 11. Also participating in the event will be the Portland Winterhawks, Seattle Thunderbirds, Tri-City Americans and Spokane Chiefs. The Silvertips will head to Kennewick the following weekend for a three-day tournament held at the Toyota Center, home of the Americans. The WHL regular season will commence on Sep. 23.

The Everett Pre-Season Showcase schedule at Angel of the Winds Arena is as follows (all times PDT):

Friday, Sep. 9

Seattle Thunderbirds vs Portland Winterhawks - 2:00 p.m.

Spokane Chiefs vs Everett Silvertips - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, Sep. 10

Spokane Chiefs vs Seattle Thunderbirds - 2:00 p.m.

Tri-City Americans vs Everett Silvertips - 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, Sep. 11

Seattle Thunderbirds vs Tri-City Americans - 12:00 p.m.

Portland Winterhawks vs Everett Silvertips - 4:00 p.m.

Everett's schedule the following weekend on the road in Kennewick is as follows (all times PDT):

Friday, Sep. 16

Everett Silvertips vs Tri-City Americans - 7:05 p.m.

Saturday, Sep. 17

Everett Silvertips vs Seattle Thunderbirds - 2:05 p.m.

The 2022-23 campaign will be the 20th season in Everett Silvertips history. The Silvertips will be releasing information regarding their full regular season schedule as well as their special 20th Anniversary branding in the coming weeks. Tickets for Everett's Pre-Season Showcase will be available later in the summer.
