Silverbacks Win Three in a Row

December 9, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Buffalo Silverbacks News Release

Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Silverbacks turned in their third straight win Friday night, downing the Detroit Panthers 119 to 105. This is a big win for the Silverbacks, not only does it officially put them on a win streak - it satisfies Buffalo's need for revenge after their last two encounters with Detroit.

Buffalo led, controlled and dominated for the entire game, breaking off to an early lead and holding steady for the night. Detroit made one run at Buffalo in the third, but after Kevin Ross hit a slam dunk so hard that he brought the hoop down to the floor, Detroit couldn't do anything but watch.

Antoine Sims, once again, led the Silverbacks in scoring with 24 points. The true game changer of the evening was "hoop killer" Kevin Ross who contributed 23 points and 15 rebounds.

The Silverbacks next home game is Wednesday the 13th. Be there as the team gives away free team gear to the first 750 children through the gate. More than $40,000 in free team gear, 10 XBOX 360 Platinum Systems and 20 XBOX games will be given away this holiday season at Silverbacks games.
