Buffalo, NY "" The Buffalo Silverbacks announced today the signing of And1 star point guard Kenny Brunner, also known as "Bad Santa."Ã Brunner is known as the top streetball player on the West coast and top five in the world.Ã Ã While playing in the NBA Summer Pro League 2004 he had 62 assists in 5 games, doubling the figures of Earl Watson and Baron Davis.Ã He was selected for the All Century Drew League, putting him in the top 50 of all time.Ã Ã Brunner's lightening quick reflexes and anticipation give him the ability to penetrate the defense to create scoring opportunities.Ã His speed, aggressiveness and unrelenting defensive abilities force the opposing team into turnovers and make him perfect fit for the Silverbacks.
Brunner has a history of leading teams to championships. Ã In the past four years he has been part of six championship teams and has earned four MVP's.Ã Among the best of the best, some of his accomplishments include; the 2006 ABA Western Conference All-Star Team (So Cal Legends), 2005 & 2006 Southern California NBA Summer Pro League Champions - MVP (Play2Win-Delta Jammers), 2005 Mexican CIBACOPA All-Star game (Ca'eros de Navolato), 2004 NBA Southern California SPL All-Star team, 2002 Drafted by NBDL ASHEVILLE Altitude (14th round 3rd pick), 2000 NJCAA National Tournament, 2000 Region XVIII tournament finalists (Southern Idaho) and 2000 Second Team Scenic West Conference All-Region (Southern Idaho).
