SAN ANTONIO, May 12, 2010 - Featuring a mix of veterans and players new to San Antonio, the Silver Stars open the 2010 WNBA season at the AT&T Center this Saturday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. against the Atlanta Dream. Saturday's home opener is $1 Night, where fans can enjoy fountain drinks, hot dogs and draft beers for one dollar apiece throughout the night.
The first 5,000 fans will receive a Silver Stars schedule magnet courtesy of Independence Carpet Care while the first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a noisemaker compliments of the game sponsor, St. Philip's College.
As part of WNBA Cares Week of Service, the Salvation Army will be collecting change and passing out information outside the arena.
The opening night festivities include an OVERTIME performance by Blue Finger Disco, who will perform during halftime and postgame for all fans at the Bud Light Courtyard.
