
Ashley Houts Added to Mystics Roster

Washington, D.C. -Washington Mystics General Manager Angela Taylor announced today that guard Nikki Blue has been traded to the New York Liberty for rookie guard Ashley Houts. A standout at the University of Georgia, Houts was selected by the New York Liberty in the second round (16th overall) of the 2010 WNBA Draft.
A four year WNBA veteran, Blue was selected in the second round (19th overall) of the 2006 WNBA draft by the Washington Mystics. Blue's WNBA career averages are 12.8 minutes per game, 3.0 points per game and 1.8 assists per game. Blue also has a 79.6 free throw percentage.
The Washington Mystics will tip off the 2010 season with a back to back on Saturday, May 15 on the road against the Eastern Conference Champions, Indiana Fever followed by a match up on Sunday, May 16 at the Minnesota Lynx. Washington will host the club's home opener on Friday, May 21, against the New York Liberty.
