
Silver Stars Activate LaToya Thomas from Injured List

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Silver Stars Chief Operating Officer Clarissa Davis-Wrightsil announced today that Silver Stars forward LaToya Thomas has been activated from the injured list. She will be available to play in tonight's game vs. the Minnesota Lynx. At the same time the Silver Stars placed guard Tai Dillard on the injured list with a right hamstring strain.
Thomas suffered a torn posterior glenoid labrum in her right shoulder on June 11 versus the Connecticut Sun. For the season, she has started in nine games, averaging 12.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game.
Dillard has appeared in eight games averaging 3.6 minutes per game.
The Silver Stars return to action tonight when they host the Minnesota Lynx at 7:00 p.m. CT at the SBC Center. Fans can tune in and listen to all of the team's 2005 WNBA games on Clear Channel radio stations KSJL 810 AM or the Ticket 760 AM.
