
Silver Knights Make the Most of 9 Hits in 4-3 Victory over Titans

The Nashua Silver Knights (18-18) and the Torrington Titans (16-19) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Nashua Silver Knights that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Fuessenich Park.
Tyler Noe got on base four times in the game for the Nashua Silver Knights. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the sixth inning.
The Torrington Titans couldn't get anything going as long as Kevin Connor was pitching. Connor held the Torrington Titans hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Rob DelSignore recorded his first win of the year for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. DelSignore struck out seven, walked two and gave up six hits.
Nick Johnson (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
