Dallas Sidekicks News Release

Allen, Texas - The Dallas Sidekicks officially appoint Terry Woodberry as Head Coach for the 2024-2025 MASL Season. Woodberry will mark the eighth Head Coach in Sidekicks history. Per team and league policy, additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Woodberry was appointed Interim Head Coach on March 14, 2024, and coached the Sidekicks to a three-game winning streak to finish out the 2023-2024 MASL season. In the four games that he coached, Woodberry had a record of 3-1 which included dominant victories against the Texas Outlaws and St. Louis Ambush.

"The four games were a good cornerstone to what will happen in the future for us. The Sidekicks have an extensive history, and the community is waiting for us to have success. The fans had a taste of that during the last games. There are things we will build upon, but the future is bright for the Sidekicks," Woodberry commented when asked about the final games of the 2023-2024 season.

Having two indoor soccer championships under his belt including one with the Sidekicks, Woodberry brings a wealth of knowledge to the team after learning the ins and outs of indoor soccer from coaching legends such as Gordon Jago and Ron Newman.

"My past dictates a lot. I've been on championship teams, and I know what it takes to be a champion. The key priority that I have for the players is that when you step onto the field, it is to win and give it your all. I'm here to win the whole thing and make it back to the MASL playoffs," commented Woodberry.

Season Tickets for the 2024-2025 season are on sale now. Elevate your game day experience and become a part of the Sidekicks family today by visiting or call the office at (469) 393-0160 to learn more!
