
Sidekicks Lose First Game of Weekend Doubleheader

Mesquite, Texas - The Dallas Sidekicks faced the Mesquite Outlaws for the fourth time this season on Saturday Night.
The Outlaws opened up the scoring sheet of the game by scoring three goals. These goals were scored by Luiz Morales, David Ortiz, and Sebastian Mendez. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 0-3.
The Sidekicks answered back in the second quarter with three quick goals. Gustavo Piedra scored off of a restart at the 3:53-minute mark. At the 5:47 minute mark, Anthony Powell scored a power-play goal. A minute later, Esai Romero, scored his first professional goal.
The game was not tied for very long because the Outlaws responded with three more goals which were scored by Ilya Dmitriakov, Erik Macias, and David Ortiz. At the end of the half, the score was 3-6.
33 seconds into the third quarter, Outlaws player, Sebastian Mendez scored. This goal was followed up by two more Outlaws goals which were scored by Mendez again and Isaias Emmanuel Robles. At the end of the quarter, the score was 3-9.
In the fourth quarter, Outlaws capitalized on two more goals scored by David Ortiz and Axel Chakounte. Sidekicks player, Jowayne Laidley, ended the scoring sheet of the game by scoring a goal in the last few seconds of the game. The final score was 4-11.
