Sidekicks Defeat Texas Outlaws 10-4 on City Night

Allen, Texas - The Dallas Sidekicks faced the Texas Outlaws for the sixth and final time on Sunday night. The Sidekicks are 4-11 and the Outlaws are 11-11-1 and have qualified for playoffs.

The Sidekicks scored first in the game at 9:27. The goal was scored by Blas Pérez. Two minutes later Yahir Romero scored making it 2-0, but 36 seconds later the Outlaws scored their first of the game by Vini Dantas. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 2-1.

One minute into the second quarter, Colin O'Keefe scored and five minutes later he scored his second of the game. Less than a minute later, the Outlaws player, Cody Ellis scored. Two minutes later, Esai Romero added to the score sheet. At 13:02, the Outlaws, Brenden Lee scored. At the end of the second quarter, the score was 5-3.

The Outlaws scored early into the third quarter narrowing the Sidekicks lead to one. However, Yahir Romero scored his second goal of the game seconds later. At 7:53, Sidekicks player, Gustavo Piedra scored. Three minutes later, Blas Pérez scored his second goal of the game and was in the hunt for a hat trick. Five seconds left into the third quarter; Yahir Romero found his hat trick. At the end of the third quarter, the score was 4-9.

Unlike the other quarters in the game, there was only one goal in the fourth quarter, but tensions were high on and off the bench. There were five blue cards and one yellow card in the quarter. The final score of the game was 10-4.
