Memphis Showboats News Release
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Showboats have a big Saturday (May 4) in store at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The team will be giving away Showboats bobbleheads (while supplies last) to fans in attendance for this week's rivalry game against the Birmingham Stallions. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT.
In addition to the bobblehead giveaway, with Mother's Day on the horizon, the Showboats are teaming up with FedEx Cares to hold a diaper/baby formula drive to support the Mid-South Food Bank. All fans in attendance are encouraged to donate diapers, baby formula or adult incontinence products when they arrive at Saturday's game. Mid-South Food Bank's mission is to change lives by eliminating hunger in the Mid-South and to support the Bare Needs Diaper Bank, which raises awareness for the well-being of low-income families, women and children.
Donations will be accepted at Gates 1 and 2 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium prior to kickoff on Saturday.
Single-game tickets start at just $10 and can be purchased online at https://www.theufl.com/tickets. In addition, parking can also be purchased in advance at the park Mobile website: https://app.parkmobile.io/venues/simmons-bank-liberty-stadium/events/211231.
The Showboats-Stallions rivalry started in the 1980's and continues today, as the two teams battled it out last season for a playoff spot. Memphis will be looking to avenge a Week 3 loss at Birmingham when they take the field this weekend.
