August 14, 2025 - ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The UFL has announced that Memphis Showboats cornerback Nehemiah Shelton has signed a contract with the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League. In his second season with the Showboats, Shelton collected nine tackles in eight games played. The San Jose State Spartan joined Memphis in 2024 and played in seven games. Memphis Showboats Sign Four Players from Arena Football One League

August 12, 2025 - MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Showboats have signed four players from the Arena One Football League's Albany Firebirds in quarterback Sam Castronova, wide receivers Duane Brown and Isiah Scott and offensive lineman Isaiah Hardy. Castronova led the AF1 in passing touchdowns (48) and finished second in passing yards with 1,735 throughout the 2025 season. Memphis Showboats RB Deneric Prince Signs with New England Patriots

August 11, 2025 - ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The UFL has announced that Memphis Showboats running back Deneric Prince has signed a contract with the New England Patriots of the National Football League. Prince finished in the league's top 10 in rushing yards (7th, 335) and scored a pair of touchdowns in 10 games played this season. Memphis Showboats Defensive Tackle Josiah Bronson Signs with Tennessee Titans

August 4, 2025 - United Football League (UFL) announced today that Memphis Showboats defensive tackle Josiah Bronson has signed with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). Bronson was a consistent force on the defensive line for the Showboats in 2025, starting all 10 games and recording 28 tackles, three tackles for loss, four pass breakups, and one interception.
