Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - Weeks and months of Metro Council meetings and votes have led up to Tuesday night's final vote on a Soccer Stadium at the Fairgrounds in Nashville. Be there and be a part of this unforgettable milestone for Nashville soccer.
Before the meeting, Nashville SC staff and players will be outside at the Metro Plaza, in front of the Metro Nashville Courthouse, beginning at 3 pm. There will be free t-shirts, free hot dogs and popsicles, and a carnival style atmosphere . The Roadies will then lead a march at 4 p.m. into the plaza with drums and its signature chants. Throughout the afternoon, youth clubs will be playing pickup soccer games on the plaza lawn. We would love for supporters to come, hold seats, and enjoy spending time with others that love the beautiful game.
The Council meeting itself will begin at 6:30 p.m. We hope to see you there as we celebrate this wonderful soccer movement in Nashville.
You can also email your councilperson and letting he or she know of your support for the continued growth of soccer and Nashville.
