BRIDWELL COMING ON: Parker Bridwell tossed six innings to earn his second straight win last night. Over his last three starts (all Shorebirds wins), he has allowed 16 hits and just four runs over 18 innings pitched (2.00 ERA). Bridwell has lowered his ERA from 7.09 (which was highest in SAL) to 6.08. Bridwell has won consecutive starts for the first time in his professional career.

TWO WITH TEN HOME RUNS: Nicky Delmonico smacked his tenth home run of the season last night to tie Brenden Webb for most of the team. The last time that the Shorebirds had multiple players hit ten or more homers in the same season was 2008. That season, Joe Nowicki (19 home runs) led five players with 10+ homers (Kieron Pope - 12, Ryan Adams - 11, Tyler Henson - 11, Anthony Martinez - 11).

STARR OF STARS: Sammie Starr is riding a seven game winning streak, a season long (10-for-25, .409). The streak has boosted his average from .230 to .244, which is the highest it has been since June 17 (.247).
