Shorebirds Cancel Thursday's Game

SALISBURY, MD -- Thursday's game between the Delmarva Shorebirds and Greenville Drive has been cancelled due to rain. The game will not be made up.

Fans who were attending the game as a part of a group outing will be contacted by a Shorebirds representative regarding options for future ticket redemption. Those who purchased tickets for the game individually may redeem them for any future 2016 home date based on availability.

The Shorebirds' homestand continues on Friday when they open a four-game series with the Charleston RiverDogs at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive a 2016 schedule poster courtesy of Pepsi. The game will also mark the second Orange Friday of the season, as all fans are encouraged to wear orange. Finally, Friday's contest will be a Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday, where 32 oz. Coors Light and Miller Lite drafts are $6 each.
