Shorebirds, BlueClaws Rained out in Lakewood
April 15, 2018 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Delmarva Shorebirds News Release
LAKEWOOD, NJ - Due to inclement weather across the Jersey Shore, today's Delmarva Shorebirds-Lakewood BlueClaws game has been postponed.
Because the Shorebirds don't visit Lakewood again until the second half, the game will most likely be made up in Salisbury as part of a doubleheader when the BlueClaws visit next Thursday through Sunday, or during the series May 25-28. The makeup will be announced at a later date.
The Shorebirds now move on to Hagerstown to open a three-game series against their in-state rivals. Zac Lowther (1-0, 0.00) will now make the start against the Suns' Nick Raquet (0-1, 3.27). First pitch on Monday is set for 6:05 p.m., and pregame coverage on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 5:50 with Will DeBoer on the call.
