WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced the Worcester Sharks will host the first of four "SHOOT TO WIN" contests on Friday, January 18th at 7:05p.m. when the Sharks host the Portland Pirates at the DCU Center. Three lucky fans will have the chance to SHOOT TO WIN a new Pontiac Solstice courtesy of Diamond Chevrolet of Worcester and Auburn.
The Worcester Sharks have teamed up with Diamond Chevrolet of Worcester and Auburn for an exciting new promotion where Sharks fans will have the opportunity to win a brand new 2008 Pontiac Solstice at four Worcester Sharks games, at the DCU Center this season!
GAMES ARE: JANUARY 18, FEBRUARY 23, MARCH 22, AND APRIL 12.
Any fan that visits Diamond Chevrolet on Park Ave in Worcester or Auburn and test drive a car, will receive a complimentary family four pack of tickets to a future Sharks game and register to win the chance to SHOOT TO WIN a new 2008 Pontiac Solstice! (must mention the promotion to get the tickets and entry to win)
At the above games during an intermission, Two lucky fans chosen from the entries at Diamond Chevrolet and one fan chosen from the Sharks will have the chance to SHOOT TO WIN!

The Sharks wrap up their three-game road trip on Wednesday evening in Hartford before returning to the DCU Center for an action-packed weekend vs. Portland on Friday and Providence on Saturday. Lukas Kaspar collector's cards will be given away to the first 3,000 fans on Friday. The Sharks will feature their black alternate jerseys for another Black Friday, and free massages will be available on the concourse, courtesy of the Salter School of Massage Therapy. Also, Baystate Financial Services will be holding a coat drive before the game. All fans that donate a new or lightly used coat will receive a ticket voucher for a future Sharks game.
On Saturday, the Sharks host the Bruins and the first 3,000 fans will receive a Joe Thornton bobblehead doll compliments of News Talk 580 WTAG. New England Revolution midfielder Shalarie Joseph and Mascot Slyde will also attend to help celebrate "Massachusetts Youth Soccer Night." Sharks players will sign autographs during the second intermission as part of Saturday Night Signings. Opening face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. After the game, visit Boston Billiard Club as Worcester Sharks players will serve as celebrity bartenders.
