Spokane Shock News Release

The Spokane Shock announced today that they will host an exhibition game on Thursday, March 20th at the Yakima SunDome, as they host the Amarillo Dusters. Kickoff will be at 7PM. This will be the first Arena Football game ever played in the SunDome.

"This will give Yakima fans a taste of the excitement of Arena Football," General Manager Adam Nebeker said. "Arena Football truly is an unbelievably exciting game and we're happy to be able to share our product with the city of Yakima."

Tickets for the game will go on sale on Monday February 18th and can be purchased through TicketsWest on-line, over the phone, or in-person at any TicketsWest outlet, including the SunDome. Ticket prices range from $10-$35. This game will not be broadcast on television or on radio.

"We have a tough schedule for the up-coming season and this game will be an excellent opportunity for our guys to see how they match-up against our competition at the end of training camp," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said.

The Dusters will come to Yakima led by QB Joel Steele who defeated the Shock in the first round of the playoffs last year as the QB for the Louisville Fire. The Shock are currently undefeated against the Dusters in their previous two meetings.
