Sharks Launch New Website

February 13, 2008 - arenafootball2 (af2)
Corpus Christi Sharks News Release

Corpus Christi Sharks Vice President and General Manager Larry Linde announced today that the team has launched a new website for the 2008 season with a fresh, easier to navigate design.

While Head Coach Mike Trigg has been improving the team on the field, the Sharks front office staff has been adding improvements off the field, including the team's website, www.ccsharks.com. The new design will better serve the teams rapidly growing fan base and sponsors for the 2008 season.

The new layout - created by Infinity Pro Sports and maintained by Richline Technical Services (Official Sharks IT Services Provider) - makes it easier for fans to keep up with the Coastal Bend's only Arena Football Team. It also makes it easier to purchase tickets, get individual game / promotional information, and even link to the Lady Sharks Official Myspace page. Sharks fans will not only be able to access updated information on their favorite players, they will also be able to purchase official team merchandise, download screen savers and backgrounds, and have easier access to online audio and video broadcasts and message boards.

The newest addition to the site for the upcoming season is the link that will allow fans to watch all of the team's games on-line, free of charge, through the league's new partnership with Nifty TV.

"We wanted a design that was more user friendly, a design that gave our fans greater access and connection to the Sharks", said Linde. "With the help of Infinity Pro Sports we were able to do that . Once our fans see it, I really think they'll love it".

While on the site, Sharks fans are reminded to sign up for the "Sharks Fin" e-blast to keep up with all the latest team news via your e-mail.

The Sharks will spend the first two weeks of the regular season on the road before returning to the American Bank Center for the home opener against division rival Rio Grande on April 12th. Season tickets for the Sharks 2008 season are now on sale and start as low as $75. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Sharks office at (361)882-9292.
