Spokane Shock News Release

Spokane, WA: The arenafootball2 league announced today its annual front office award winners. The Spokane Shock placed in five different categories and won two - Best Field (Spokane Tribe Field) and Best Dance Team (WiredX Shock Dance Team). This was the first time the Shock has won either of these awards.

Shock Dance Team Director Maggie Cahalan motivated the dancers throughout the season by making a goal to be the best Dance Team in the league.

"It gave the girls a new incentive to continue to work harder and motivated them at every practice," Cahalan explained. "It's great just to be recognized by the league for all of our hard work."

Teams were judged in a variety of categories by league officials. In addition to winning Best Field and Best Dance Team, the Shock also placed in the following categories: Best Website (2nd), Best Operations Clip (3rd) and Most Creative Merchandise item for their letterman's jacket (3rd).
