
af2 recognizes team efforts in select promotional areas

CHICAGO - The arenafootball2 league (af2) put the finishing touch on its 2008 season by handing out 14 special awards which recognize some of the outstanding work done by its member teams in various promotional areas. Notable honorees include the Corpus Christi Sharks, who earned top honors in three categories - Best Community Relations, Best Operations Clip and af2 Cares. The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz, Spokane Shock and Stockton Lightning each earned first place recognition in two categories. The top three finishers in each category are highlighted below:
