Spokane Shock News Release
SPOKANE, Wash. (September 29, 2014) - The Shock have been assigned defensive back Devon Dace to the 2015 roster.
Dace (5-11, 190, Missouri Southern State) joins the Shock for his second year as a member of the Arena football League after playing the 2014 season with the Iowa Barnstormers. Last season Dace saw action in 12 games including three starts on his way to recording 35 total tackles (32 unassisted), one interception and ten pass break ups. Dace began his collegiate career at the University of Rhode Island where he was a three-year starter for the Rams and played in 19 games until injuring his shoulder early in his senior season. After receiving a medical hardship and an additional year of eligibility, Dace transferred to Missouri Southern State where he totaled 24 tackles in his final season.
"Devon is a very versatile athlete and did some great things last season," said Shock Head Coach Andy Olson. "We look forward to him coming into camp and making an immediate impact for us."
