Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the team has added forward Jamie Shewchuk to the active roster. When the left-hander was acquired via trade from the Minnesota Swarm at the NLL trade deadline last Tuesday, he was on the Injured Reserve List recovering from a hand injury.
"Jamie is now healthy and ready to contribute," said Mammoth president and general manager Steve Govett.
The 26-year-old Edmonton native is fourth all-time in Mammoth history in goals (109), assists (142) and points (251). He is also just five career points shy of 300, after accumulating 44 points in his stint with the Swarm.
Colorado's 13.17 goals-per-game average is second-best in the league.
Due to work commitments, transition player Jed Prossner has been moved to the Holdout List.
Colorado faces off against the Rochester Knighthawks this Saturday, March 31 at 11:05am MT at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y. The game will air live on TV on Altitude Sports & Entertainment.
