Mississippi Braves News Release

Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves announce today Wednesday, August 15, 2012, that C Shawn McGill will be transferred back to AA-Mississippi from High-A Lynchburg. In addition, OF Tim Smith was placed on the DL yesterday, August 14 for a mild back strain retroactive to August 10.

Mississippi's roster has 24 active players and 5 disabled.
