The Corpus Christi Sharks take to the road for the first time this season as they square off against the Texas Copperheads. The Sharks are coming off a 76 - 42 defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma Yard Dawgz, the Texas Copperheads lost to the Bossier -Shreveport Battlewings 52 - 0. This is the first of 3 meetings between these two Southwest Divisional teams.

The Corpus Christi Sharks will be home again May 5th as they get their first look at divisional rival the Bossier-Shreveport Battelwings on Saturday night with a 7:05 kickoff from Radiology Associates Field at the American Bank Center. Former Dallas Cowboys QB Quincy Carter will make his one lone appearance for Bossier-Shreveport at the American Bank Center that night. Sharks Off The Field

The Sharks Staff will be participating in two different fund raisers this week. Wednesday (4/18) several of the Sharks front office staff will participate in the 3rd Annual Physician Appreciation Golf Tournament @ C.C. Country Club. Benefiting: "Chemo Kidz Fund". Several of the "Lady Sharks" Dance team will be on hand as well as "Scully" the Corpus Christi Sharks mascot. The mission of the Chemo Kidz Fund is to aid families in the struggle to fight cancer and other life threatening conditions by providing financial support for medical, social and emotional needs.

Saturday morning (4/22) the Sharks will join thousands of others as we make the walk for the March of Dimes. This is the 36th year of "Walk America" The walk begins at 7am with the 5 mile walk beginning at 8am from Whataburger Field. This is the largest fund-raising event for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.
