Sharks Snake Bite By Rattlers

Jacksonville Sharks News Release


The Jacksonville Sharks suffered their first home loss of the season at the hands of the Arizona Rattlers 50-66 June 26. The Sharks were led on offense by Bernard Morris who scored three touchdowns and Jason Willis added two. The Rattlers were led on offense by Rod Windsor who scored three touchdowns and 186 receiving yards. Rattlers Quarterback Nick Davila completed 23 of 37 passes before being ejected in the second half for a personal foul after the play. Sharks Wide Reciever Jomo Wilson left the game in the first half with a Corneal Aborition, but is expected to be ready for the team's game July 3. Although the loss was the first home loss of the season for the Sharks, the team set a franchise record for attendance at 11,922. The Sharks return to Sea Best Field next Saturday, July 3rd to avenge an early seaon loss to the Alabama Vipers.
