
Sharks Sign WR/LB Neiko Creamer

JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks announced today the signing of wide receiver/linebacker Neiko Creamer who enters his second season in the National Arena League and first season with the Jacksonville Sharks.
Creamer (6'4, 232) spent last season with the Jersey Flight where he totaled 19 tackles, two interceptions, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble at linebacker. Neiko also spent time as a receiver for the Flight where he caught two passes for 19 yards. Creamer spent his rookie season in the AFL with the Atlantic City Blackjacks where he played jack linebacker.
Creamer finished his college career at Eastern Kentucky University where he played wide receiver. During his career at EKU he played in 32 games recording 79 receptions for 911 yards. As a senior he tied for most receptions on the team with 21 in 2018. Neiko Creamer began his college career at the University of Tennessee where he was highly recruited to play tight end. Creamer spent his freshman and redshirt freshman seasons with the Volunteers.
A native of Wilmington, Delaware Creamer played high school football at Eastern Christian Academy in Elkton, Maryland. He finished his high school career as a Second Team All-State wide receiver and helped his team to a 9-3 record. Creamer was a two-sport athlete playing both football and basketball. In football Neiko was a three-star college prospect ranked in the top 25 at wide receiver and athlete for the state of Maryland. He received interest from Boston College, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Temple before committing to the University of Tennessee.
