JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks have announced that Canadian football, Kicker Renaud Labrecque, (5'11,195) has signed with the Sharks for his first year of arena football.
Labrecque attended Concordia University and Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada. During his time with the Mounties, he played in 3 games in the 2013-2014 season. He made 5 of the 6 field goals attempted resulting in an 83 percent accuracy record. He was 5 for 5 for on attempted extra points, giving him a 100 percent accuracy record in extra points made. Overall, he scored 20 points for the Mounties during the 2013-2014 season. Before he signed with the Sharks, Labrecque was a CFL free agent.
Labrecque is a native of Saint-î=89tienne-des-Grès, Quebec. During his high school career, he was utilized as a Wide Receiver, Kicker, and a Kick Returner. Labrecque was listed as a Wide Receiver for the Mounties but played his collegiate career as a kicker and is now signed with the Sharks as a kicker.
