JACKSONVILLE - The 2019 National Arena League Champion Jacksonville Sharks have announced today the signing of Wide Receiver Jordan Williams. Williams signs for his third season in arena football and his first season with the Sharks.
Williams (6'2, 190) joins the Sharks after spending the 2019 season with the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League (AFL). He competed in ArenaBowl XXXII against the Albany Empire. Williams had a career total of 27 receptions for 379 yards and four touchdowns. He also spent time as a kick returner for the Soul where he returned 48 kicks for 644 yards. In 2018, Williams played for Albany where he primarily served as a kick returner with 18 returns for 269 yards.
During his college career, Williams played for three years as a wide receiver at Edinboro University and spent one season as a safety at Liberty University. During his college career he accounted for 76 receptions for 973 yards and 11 touchdowns. Williams is from Orchard Park, NY and attended Bishop-Timon St. Jude High School.
