
Sharks Sign AAL Defensive Lineman Rawley White

JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks announced today the signing of Defensive Lineman Rawley White who signs for his third season of arena football and first with the Jacksonville Sharks.
White (6'4, 270) spent the 2021 season with the Charlotte Thunder of the American Arena League where he played defensive end. During that season White helped the Thunder to a 9-0 record as Charlotte became the AAL East Conference Champions, the Thunder advanced to face the North Texas Bulls in the 2021 AAL Championship game but fell short to the Bulls 60-43.
In 2019, White played for the Carolina Energy of the AAL. During his time with the Energy White helped Carolina to a 6-0 record and helped the team advance to the 2019 AAL championship where the Energy fell to the West Virginia Roughriders 55-29. In 2018, White played defensive end for the Peach State Cats, an AAL team in Athens, GA. White and the Cats went 5-2 and ended the season as division runners up.
White is a native of Mobile, AL played linebacker for South Alabama in college and played high school football at Wright Prep where totaled 12 tackles and one QB hurry his senior year. He also played baseball at Wright Prep.
