WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Jacksonville Sharks (9-1) defeat the New York Streets (3-7) 51-42 in their third and final meeting between the two in the regular season. This victory extends the Sharks win streak to nine in a row and the victory locks the Sharks into the 2019 NAL playoffs..

Quarterback Mike Fafaul made his third straight start of the season. Currently 3-0 as the Sharks starter the former UCLA Bruin completed 14 touchdown passes within the last two weeks only allowing one interception. Tonight, Fafaul was 22-of-29 for 237 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Wide Receiver Durron Neal had another stand out performance against the New York Streets. Neal gained 10 receptions for 122 yards, and three touchdowns. Neal's touchdowns included two receiving and one rushing touchdown. The Sharks showed a dual threat at the fullback position Zack Brown finished the night with an eight yard rushing touchdown and fullback Alstevis Squirrewell rushed for five rushes for 15 yards.

Defensively, the Sharks played a great game holding the Streets to only six points in the third quarter. Defensive Back Seth Ellis came away with his 10th interception on the season with 44 yard interception return. The Sharks defense had a total of seven pass break ups, three tackles for a loss, and two sacks. Sharks Kicker Brandon Behr entered the game as the back to back NAL Special Teams Player of the Week and his performance did not fade as he finished the night with the game's only deuce and was six of seven on PATs.
