
Sharks Look To Cage Yard Dawgz

The Jacksonville Sharks take the field for the first time in Oklahoma City this weekend.
The match-up features two teams playing their first games in the Arena Football League. However, the Sharks, the league's lone expansion team, travel to a city very familiar with the arena game. As a member of the arena football 2 (af2) league, the AFL's developmental league, the Yard Dawgz have appeared in the post-season five of its six years.
"We look forward to a great battle against a tough Jacksonville squad," said Yard Dawgz Head Coach Sparky McEwen. "They've got one of the best quarterbacks in AFL history. It'll be a hard fought game."

The Jacksonville Sharks are members of the Arena Football League (AFL). All home games will be played at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.
