Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release
The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz take on the Jacksonville Sharks, Saturday, April 3, at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kickoff is set for 7:05 pm CST. Saturday's contest marks the first time these two teams have played.
Both the Yard Dawgz and the Sharks join the Arena Football League's 23rd season.
The Sharks are an expansion team, while the Yard Dawgz competed in the AFL's minor league system for the previous six seasons.
"We look forward to a great battle against a tough Jacksonville squad,"Â said Head Coach Sparky McEwen. "They've got one of the best quarterbacks in AFL history. It'll be a hard fought game."Â
