JACKSONVILLE - History was made tonight as the Jacksonville Sharks (8-1) defeated the New York Streets (3-6) 83-51. Jacksonville's record-breaking night ended with an 83-point victory, the most points scored in a single game in team history. A record that was held since their first season as a franchise (2011, 79 points vs. Iowa Barnstormers).

Sharks' Quarterback, Mike Fafaul in his second straight start was unstoppable tonight, throwing 20-of-24 for 255 yards and nine touchdowns. Fafaul tied the NAL's most passing touchdowns in a single-game. Wide Receiver, Devin Wilson, led the team in receiving yards (99) and touchdowns (three). Jarmon Fortson finished with 91 yards and three touchdowns. Durron Neal had four receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Cody Saul came away with his first receiving touchdown this season on a 13-yard catch and run. Fullback/Linebacker Zack Brown finished the night with three rushes for one yard and one touchdown. Kick Returner, Tony Goodman returned three kickoffs for 115 yards and one touchdown. To bring it all together kicker, Brandon Behr, had a perfect night, making all 11 PAT's and three deuces.

The offense scored their first 16 points in only three plays and the Sharks were able to score a total of eight touchdowns. The Sharks defense was able to rush the quarterback on multiple occasions, forcing Streets QB, David Legree, to run and make risky moves. Behr was also perfect on PAT's and was able to make three deuces, all three in the first half.

The Sharks face the Streets again Saturday, June 29, 7 pm, in New York. The game will be streamed live on the National Arena League YouTube page for free. The Sharks' next home game is on Saturday, July 19 as we take on the Massachusetts Pirates. For tickets, please call (904) 621-0700 or visit ticketmaster.com.
