JACKSONVILLE - The 2019 National Arena League champion Jacksonville Sharks announced today the signing of Defensive Lineman Justin Marcus for the 2020 season. This will be his second year of arena football and first with the Sharks.

Justin Marcus (6'4, 250) spent the 2019 season with the Orlando Predators where he played in 14 games as a defensive lineman for the Preds. During the 2019 season, he led Orlando with 8.5 TFLs and 6.5 sacks. Marcus also finished the year with 24 tackles, one forced fumble, and a blocked kick.

Justin Marcus finished his college career at Kennesaw State where he spent two seasons playing in 19 games recording 21 tackles, seven TFLs, five sacks, and one fumble recovery. Prior to his time with the Owls, he played for Clark Atlanta in Division II, seeing action in nine games totaling 36 tackles, 7.5 for a loss, 1.5 sacks.

A native of Macon, GA the 6'4 defensive lineman played for Northeast High School.
