Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls are facing elimination tonight as they head into Game 5 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals matchup against the Alaska Aces at the Cow Palace. Alaska leads the series three games to one.

Last night, the Bulls and Aces held an offensive battle at the Cow Palace, with Alaska coming out on top 6-5. San Francisco got on the board first with a shorthanded goal from Dean Ouellet in the first period, assisted by Christian Ouellet. In the second, the two teams went back and forth, scoring six total goals in the period. The Bulls received goals from Kris Belan and Jordan Morrison. After 40 minutes, Alaska had a slight advantage 4-3. Taylor Nelson came in relief of Thomas Heemskerk after allowing the third goal in the second period. The Aces went up 6-3 in the third, but the Bulls pulled two back with goals from D. Ouellet and Kory Falite, bringing the score to 6-5 with just minutes left. A strong offensive push got the crowd on their feet, but the Aces held on for the victory.

During the playoff series, San Francisco has received point production from all across the board. Dean Ouellet is on a three-game point streak. Kris Belan and Dean Ouellet each have notched two goals and an assist. Kory Falite and Jordan Morrison have also produced two goals each.

If the Bulls stave off elimination tonight, Game 6 will be on Tuesday, April 16 in Alaska at 8:15. If necessary, Game 7 will take place the following day, Wednesday April 17, again at 8:15.
