Several Regional Foes Highlight Indy Eleven Preseason Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS - A new-look Indy Eleven squad will have plenty of time to get familiar during a six-week preseason calendar starting in just over two weeks' time. The "Boys in Blue" - under the direction of new head coach Tim Hankinson - will get things going when they report to Indianapolis for physicals on February 15.
Indy Eleven will conduct two weeks of training in the Indy area before heading west to a familiar destination, the Grande Sports World complex in Casa Grande, Ariz. Indy Eleven will visit the popular soccer preseason training ground for the third time in as many seasons from Feb. 29-Mar. 8.
"Indiana's Team" will begin a busy calendar of exhibition games just prior to leaving for the Grand Canyon State by continuing its annual preseason series with the Indiana University Hoosiers on Friday, Feb. 26. That closed-door scrimmage will mark the first of nine games in a busy four-week span leading up to Indy Eleven's 2016 NASL opener on Saturday, April 2, at the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
"The group is excited to get together and start working towards a championship season that the best fans in the NASL deserve," said Hankinson. "This preseason schedule will provide some good challenges that should really push our squad. We'll of course look to pick up some results along the way, but this is a veteran roster that will know the ultimate goal is to peak once opening day comes around in April."

Seventy-one days remain until Indy Eleven kicks off its 2016 home schedule at IUPUI's Michael A. Carroll Stadium with an "NASL Class of 2014" clash against Ottawa Fury FC. As of now, the only way to secure seats is through the team's 16-game season ticket package or the new Starting Eleven Flex Pack voucher book option, while single-game tickets are set to go on sale to the public in mid-February.
