The Reading Fightin Phils topped the Binghamton Rumble Ponies after an electrifying come from behind win. The seventh inning featured 7 hits, 7 runs and two walks as the Fightins batted through the order. Aneurys Zabala picked up his first win in Double-A and Brian Marconi etched out his third save of the season.

Reading was no hit through six innings, although they did record a run on an error by the pitcher in the first.

Binghamton had a three-run top of the seventh to put them in the lead 5 to 1 thanks to a homer from Manny Rodriguez.

The R-Phils came back strong in the bottom half as Jorge Bonifacio started it off with a solo shot to left, recording Reading's first hit of the night. Madison Stokes followed with a walk, Josh Stephen singled, and Luke Miller sent home a run with a double. Everyone scored on a three run bullet from Logan Landon, his first after being signed out of the American Association. Sal Gozzo notched a pinch-hit single as did Daniel Brito and Bryson Stott. The Fightins made the score eight to five.

Brian Marconi (S, 3) took the eighth and ninth to slam the door shut on the Rumble Ponies.

Victor Santos got the ball for his first Double-A start allowing three hits and one earned run, striking out four. Tyler Carr came in for relief, letting up the homer but striking out four as well. Zabala (W, 1-0) gave up a three run homerun, but struck out the side to get out of the seventh. The righty recorded a win in his Baseballtown debut.
