
Seven-Run Fifth Leads Capitales Past Jackals

New Jersey Jackals News Release
Quebec scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to erase a 2-0 deficit and beat New Jersey by a 7-3 final. With the victory, the Capitales took three out of four in the series.
Starting pitcher Austin Chrismon tossed five innings of work for Quebec and notched his second win of the season. Chrismon (2-1) gave up two earned runs on three hits and struck out four batters.
Offensively for the Capitales, SS Yordan Manduley led the way going 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. Quebec LF Brandon Fischer tallied a run in a 1-for-4 night while DH Stayler Hernandez and 1B Zach Wilson each had a hit, a run scored and an RBI. The Capitales had only five hits in the contest but was aided by four New Jersey errors.
Designated hitter David Harris went 1-for-4 with a run scored in the loss for the Jackals.
