Seven Former 66ers on NBA Opening Day Rosters

October 26, 2010 - NBA G League (G League)
Tulsa 66ers News Release

TULSA, Okla., Oct. 26, 2010 -- Seven former Tulsa 66ers appear on NBA opening day rosters across the League, including two - Byron Mullens and D.J. White - who will suit up for the Oklahoma City Thunder, the proud affiliate of the 66ers.

Last season, Mullens averaged 15.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 27 games with the 66ers, while White averaged 20.2 points and 11.1 rebounds in 10 contests.

Additionally, Brandon Bass (Orlando), Gary Forbes (Denver), Ersan Ilyasova (Milwaukee), Shaun Livingston (Charlotte) and Ramon Sessions (Cleveland) are former 66ers on NBA opening day rosters.

Tying an all-time high, 63 players with NBA Development League experience highlight 2010-11 NBA opening day rosters. That number equaled the previous high of 63 featured on 2009-10 NBA start-of-season rosters, and surpassed the 60 former NBA D-Leaguers on 2008-09 opening day rosters.

In just four years, the number of former NBA D-League players on NBA start-of-season rosters has nearly doubled, going from 35 on opening day in 2006-07 to 63 today.
