66ers Plan Pick-A-Seat/Draft Party

TULSA, Okla., Oct. 26, 2010 - The Tulsa 66ers will host their 2010 Draft party and Pick-A-Seat night on Monday, Nov. 1 from 6-8 p.m. inside Tulsa's downtown Convention Center.

The event is an opportunity for fans to personally choose their seats for the upcoming 2010-11 66ers season while receiving the latest news on who the 66ers select in the 2010 D-League Draft. Additionally, fans can join the Tulsa 66ers front office staff for free prizes, drinks and refreshments, as well as meet the newest members of the 66ers dance team.

The Tulsa 66ers received the 13th overall pick in the 2010 NBA D-League Draft via lottery. Tulsa also holds the 20th, 45th, 52nd, 77th, 84th, 109th and 116th picks. Last season, the 66ers selected Latavious Williams in the first round. Williams, who played in 47 games for Tulsa last season, was selected with the 48th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat and was later acquired by the Oklahoma City Thunder in a draft night trade.

The 66ers open their season on Friday, Nov. 19 at Bakersfield. Tulsa's home-opener is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 26 against Iowa. For ticket information and purchases, including the recently-announced Turnpike Packages, call (918) 585-8444.
