
Sessa Called-Up To Bridgeport

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that right wing Jason Sessa has been called up by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.
Jason Sessa will join Bridgeport, the New York Islanders AHL affiliate, for their Wednesday road game against the Binghamton Senators. Sessa currently leads the Jackals in scoring this season with 59 points (32 goals, 27 assists) in 59 games for Elmira. He also leads the UHL in power play goals (16). The 27-year old from Long Island, NY links up with former Jackals defenseman Jody Robinson, but is expected to be back in the Jackals line up for Friday's road game against the Danbury Trashers
Next up for Elmira is a Wednesday match up with the Adirondack Frostbite, a 7:00 pm face off at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The Jackals next home game falls on Saturday March 19th as they host the Danbury Trashers for Hat-Night at 7:30 pm at the First Arena.
