Brooklyn Cyclones News Release
Many teams throughout baseball -- including the Cyclones -- run promotional days that allow kids to run the bases on the field after the game. Adding a new spin to the idea, the Cyclones are inviting Seniors to "Walk the Bases" at KeySpan Park, after Brooklyn's 12:00 noon game on August 14th. The promotion is being sponsored by Sunrise Assisted Living, who will be bringing residents to the game. In addition, the Cyclones are inviting season-ticket holders to donate any unused tickets for the August 14th game to Sunrise Assisted Living, so that they can be distributed to seniors throughout the Brooklyn community.
The Cyclones will also be giving free tickets to the first 100 seniors who present identification on the day of the game at the KeySpan Park Ticket Window. "We hope this will be an opportunity for longtime Brooklyn baseball fans to revisit the dreams of their youth, while introducing them to a new generation of the borough's players and fans," said Cyclones General Manager, Steve Cohen.
Any season ticket holders who wish to donate their seats for the 12:00 noon game on August 14th can do so by calling Anthony Colletti, of Sunrise Assisted Living, at (718)444-2600. Or, fans can mail their tickets to Anthony Colletti at:
