OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 2, 2011) - The Ottawa Senators today recalled defenceman Andre Benoit from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .
Benoit, 27, is being recalled to Ottawa for the third time this season. He has recorded no points and two penalty minutes in four NHL games this season. Benoit leads all B-Sens defencemen with 54 points on 10 goals and 44 assists in 71 AHL games.
The Senators next see action tonight when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7 p.m.
