B-Sens Sign Defensemen Patrick Coulombe and Brock Matheson

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed defenseman Patrick Coulombe to a professional try-out contract. Additionally, the B-Sens have signed defenseman Brock Matheson to an amateur try-out contract.

Coulombe, 25, has 12 goals, 22 assists and added 32 penalty minutes in 51 games played with the Elmira Jackals (ECHL) this season.

The St. Fabien, Que. native has appeared in eight American Hockey League games this season with the B-Sens and Milwaukee Admirals, scoring one goal and adding two penalty minutes.

Matheson, 23, recently completed his fourth season at Union College where he served as the team's co-captain.

The Gananoque, Ont. native played in 40 games this season, posting a career-high 10 points on three goals and seven assists. In four years with the Dutchmen he scored nine goals, 15 assists and recorded 123 penalty minutes in 141 games.

The B-Sens will host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers tonigh at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
